Make your own beautiful fused glass piece in a small group. Suitable for all ages (5 +). No previous experience required.

A fun Halloween/Autumn fused glass taster session. Guided by professional glass maker and tutor Annette Daly, you will make a beautiful and unique 10cm x 10cm fused glass picture or coaster (or 4 small decorations) which can be Halloween or Autumn themed or theme personal to you. Although glass cutting is not required for this short workshop, you can have a go at this fun skill if you wish. There will be a wide selection of top-quality Bullseye glass and accessory glass for you to use, some of which is exclusive to Annette Daly Glass.

Children (5+) are very welcome but under 12s must be accompanied by an adult. (Adults can either attend and supervise their child/children for free, no booking required, or make their own decorations in which case they will need to book a space for themselves too.)

The picture you make can be displayed in a frame or a hard-wood stand (stands are available to buy at the course) or hung in a sunny spot or it can be fired at a hotter temperature so it is a flat coaster. It will also make a lovely gift. No experience is required for this course (although anyone who has done fused glass before is, of course, very welcome.) This course is run in a small group to ensure lots of individual attention. Don’t worry if you don’t consider yourself to be creative or ‘arty’. Fused glass is a very forgiving medium and even complete beginners can get fantastic results. Annette will provide example pieces, templates and ideas to get you started but the possibilities are endless and your decorations will be beautiful and unique.

Your glass piece will be fired by Annette in a specialist glass kiln after the course and will be available for collection about a week later or it can be posted to you for the cost of postage.

Gift vouchers (valid for 1 year and redeemable against all courses) are also available and make fantastic presents. Annette can also offer private and corporate workshops for groups of 4 or more, just get in touch if you’d like to find out more.

Venue: Unit 70, City Business Park, Somerset Place, Plymouth, PL3 4BB. There is some free on-street parking and a large low-cost car park at the venue.
