This practical workshop explores how we can build up resilience in our soils and growing spaces.

This practical workshop explores how we can build resilience into our growing spaces through the use of green manures, by improving soil health, water harvesting and prepping for the season ahead.

The workshop takes place at our demonstration plot at our Farmstart project in Metherell.

This practical workshop lead by grower Jo Tytherleigh from Harewood Farm is ideal for people new to growing food, or are currently on an allotment waiting list.

This is a free workshop supported by the Farming in Protected Landscapes Scheme in the Tamar Valley, but we do ask for a refundable deposit of £10 per person which will be refunded on attending on the day less Eventbrite fees.

Hot drinks will also be provided, please bring along a packed lunch.

As the workshop will be taking place outdoors stout shoes and waterproofs are recommended.
