A volunteer-led walk takes place at Hardy's Cottage in Poole on selected dates. The hour-long walk starts at the Visitor Centre and finishes at Hardy's Cottage. Admission is required.
This walk is led by one of our knowledgeable volunteers. Starting at the Visitor Centre and finishing at Hardy's Cottage, this walk lasts about 1 hour and includes poetry readings along the way linked to the natural surroundings of the woods and heathland.
Booking is not necessary. You just need to be at the Visitor Centre at Thorncombe Woods for 12.15 (ready for a 12.30 start).
Dates of the walks are:
Tue 7 July, Sun 19 July, Saturday 1 Aug, Tue 4 Aug, Sun 16 Aug, Saturday 22 Aug, Tue 1 Sep and Sun 20 Sep.
If you'd like to book a tour of Hardy's Cottage to tie in with the walk, we recommend making a booking for the 14.30 tour. To make a booking to visit the cottage please call: 0344 249 1895
You do not need to book a place on the Landscape Walk, you can just turn up and everyone is welcome. Please wear weather appropriate clothing.
