An opportunity for Autistic or socially anxious children to have a go at sailing
The beginner's sailing sessions aim to get everyone out on the water, have fun, make friends and learn about watersports. The staff at ASC-Portland tailor the sessions to the participants ensuring a safe and fun environment is created through sailing and watersports.
Staff: child ratios are kept low so the children can make happy memories and feel confident on the water.
We are offering two pricing options so families can choose the rate that best reflects their circumstances. If you are able to choose the Supporter rate, you help another family attend an ASCape event at a reduced cost.
Places are limited to 6 children after which we will have a waiting list. Parent-carers do not need a separate ticket. Places are limited, so please be considerate of others if your child has attended one of ASCape's Sailing sessions previously.
All young people need to be registered to attend an ASCape event: https://ascape.uk.juice.software/registration
ASC-Portland require that an indemnity form MUST be completed for ALL children attending: https://andrewsimpsoncentres.tfaforms.net/92?ASF=a0jTu000006FSVB
