A tour around one of the Palmerston Forts built to defend Portsmouth from the French. Visit the Tunnels, Caponiers, haunted Keep and Fort Museum in the grounds of the Royal Navy training establishment HMS Sultan

Family-friendly but children must be fully supervised. Event is not suitable for children under the age of five.

This tour is held in conjunction with three other events at HMS SULTAN. Visitors should book each tour they wish to join at separate times in the day.

Entrance: Caledonia Gate, HMS Sultan, Military Road, Gosport, PO12 3BY

Duration: approx 1hr 30mins

Advance Registration required: Limited spaces on each tour. You may book up to 4 tickets per booking.

To complete your registration you will need the name of everyone who needs a ticket, contact telephone number, email, post code, car registration

Please complete registration within 10:00 minutes. After this, the reservation we're holding will be released to others.

Alternative dates: If your first choice of date or time is fully booked, you can either add your name to the waitlist or return to the booking page of our website and choose again.

Security: HMS Sultan is an active Military Establishment. Photo ID is required for all adult visitors. You must bring your ticket with you. Vehicle Registration Numbers must be provided in advance. Bags may be searched.

The Establishment may have to cancel at short notice for operational reasons. HMS Sultan reserves the right to refuse access on the day. No other part of HMS Sultan will be open to visitors.
