Welcome to Freshwalks. This Walks for Women event is part of our own vibrant business community programme and women in business are welcome to join us for some invigorating networking in the great outdoors. This monthly series offers a perfect entry level option and is ideal for those with busy diaries. Feel free to come alone - most Freshwalkers do - and you'll be warmly welcomed or invite a colleague or client along for company.

Route description

This gentle 6km circular walk on the Isle of Wight begins at The Garlic Farm and follows a clockwise route along the Bembridge Trail and Yar River Trail. The path meanders through peaceful countryside, passing the historic Langbridge crossing and the elegant Haseley Manor. Flat, well-maintained tracks offer wildlife-rich views, open meadows and quiet woodland, before looping back comfortably to The Garlic Farm café, making it ideal for relaxed walking and suitable for all abilities in all seasons.

Public transport: Unfortunately The Garlic Farm is difficult to reach via public transport but is only a short taxi journey (4 miles / 10 mins) from Newport.

Post-walk: You're welcome to join other walkers at the Garlic Farm restaurant after the walk for refreshments and optional lunch.
