About This Event

VALD Workshops will be held at the Spinnaker Building in Portsmouth on 29 September 2026. The wellness-focused event examines performance measurement in private practice and sport and is free to attend.

VALD Workshops are coming to Portsmouth, UK on September 29th.

Join us at the University of Portsmouth for an afternoon of expert-led sessions and practical workshops designed to bring together physiotherapists, strength and conditioning coaches, clinicians and other professionals working within private practice.

The event will explore how objective testing can support better decision-making, demonstrate meaningful progress and help practitioners provide every client with an elite-level experience.

Presentations

"Technology to maximise performance in a private S&C facility and professional golf " - How to integrate objective testing in a private gym & professional golf.

Chris Bundell, Director of Project: Athletic, alongside S&C teaching roles with the University of Portsmouth and the Professional Golfers Association

Chris will explore the emerging reliance on, and increasing importance of, strength and conditioning within modern golf.

"How I’m Utilising VALD Systems to Make Every Client Feel Like an Elite Athlete"

Tom Jenkins, Physiotherapist & Owner of Vida Physio, previously working with AFC Bournemouth, Notts County & Hockey Wales

Tom will share how he integrates VALD systems into his private physiotherapy practice to create a more objective, engaging and individualised experience for every client.
