PRiME Network: Healthcare Practitioners

Description:

This 2-hour staff development session is designed for all allied healthcare practitioners, both community and hospital-based, who have contact with medical undergraduates on their clinical placements. We will cover key areas such as relevant curriculum essentials, practical approaches to facilitating learning in the clinical environment, and how to deliver effective and constructive feedback.

This session is interactive and participant-led, giving you the chance to share ideas, learn from peers, and build confidence in your role as a facilitator of student learning. We have both a face-to-face and an online session, and these are open to all non-medical healthcare professionals involved in supporting learners on the Manchester MB ChB programme.

Please note:

If you are a consultant or GP wishing to supervise students, please book onto the Clinical Placement Supervisor workshops, and one of our Advanced workshops if you are already in a teaching role with us.

*Please note that this session is held Face:Face at the location as specified

*Parking - If you are travelling by car, attendees can park on the Education Centre (Health Academy 1) car park at a discretionary fee. If this car park is full, then attendees can use one of the pay and display car parks.
