About This Event

The Creative Book Club - Heart the Lover will take place on 27 October 2026 at Milk Bar in Reading. This literary gathering is designed for artists, makers, and creatives to engage in discussions about selected books. Participants can join the group for a fee of £2.00, with meetings held every six weeks.

A book club for artists, makers and creatives

The Creative Book Club is a book club for those with creative tendencies of all kinds, held at Milk Bar. The group meets every 6 weeks to discuss a book but also if the themes influenced our creativity in any way.

Tickets are limited so please pre-book.

As part of the Book Club the Milk Team design a cocktail inspired by themes and flavours in the book, there is an option to buy this or a drink of your choosing direct from Milk on the evening if you would like.

27th October- Heart the Lover by Lily King
