Welcome the New Year with Intention, Connection & Celebration!

Join us at a beautiful venue in Beech Hill for our third New Years gathering to honour the year gone by and welcome the limitless possibilities of 2027.

We'll begin by settling into a shared moment of stillness, before moving into a heart opening Cacao cermeony - an opportunity to reflect on the gifts and learnings from 2026, to release what no longer serves us, and plant the seeds of our intentions for the year ahead.

We're delighted to welcome Stephie Nomad this year, who will guide us through a powerful Manifestation Meditation Journey, beautifully accompanied by a live Sound Journey featuring flute, gong, singing bowls and percussion — inviting us to align with what we wish to call into our lives.

Our Ecstatic Dance, brings movement and music together to awaken our energy, invite deeper self connection, and embody the infinite potential that awaits us in 2027!

We'll close with some relaxed time to connect, share and socialise for those who wish to stay a little longer.

Ecstatic Dance

Movement is conscious, intuitive and spontaneous as you allow the vibrations of the sound to resonate in whichever way feels right for you. The invitation is to disconnect the mind and connect with the body freely, noticing any self-judgement and any fears around judgement from others.

Together we co-create a container, offering respect to our fellow dancers and their space, keeping to the guidelines of no chat, no shoes, no drugs, no alcohol.

The Music

Each dance is a soundwave journey, with the music being intuitively chosen from an eclectic mix of different genres. The experience is less about the type of music and more about how all aspects of your being relates to it. You'll be invited to be curious with your exploration of your body and movements, to bring moment by moment awareness to what's moving through you.

Please note that by purchasing a ticket you agree that Just BE Sound and Movement Therapy is not liable for any injury or harm that you may incur at this event (dancing only exactly as YOU feel to) & you agree to take full responsibility of yourself, your health, your wellbeing and all of your belongings whilst at the session -Thank you.

Where:

Beech Hill Memorial Hall, Reading (this is on a corner and can easily be missed). There's lots of parking on site but please car share where possible. What Three Words inflates.claps.driving

Please bring:

Water bottle. Spare clothes if you feel you'd like to. A mat and anything else you need to sit comfortably (space will be limited to please tuck these away on arrival). A journal and pen (optional).

Food & Drink:

Snacks will be provided for the end of the event. Please bring water and feel free to bring snacks / food to share. (This is a vegan event so we ask that no animal products are brought into the space - thank you for your understanding)

PAYMENT:

We have set a donation option to reduce your ticket fee cost. Please enter amount to purchase your ticket. Thank you in advance! Any tickets booked below the indicated donation amount will be refunded immediately. PLEASE ONLY BOOK ONE TICKET PER TRANSACTION AS WE NEED NAMES. YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW YOUR TICKET ON ENTRY.

CANCELLATIONS:

No refunds, however, you may nominate another person to attend in your place if you are unable to.

CACAO:

Contraindications: Ceremonial Cacao is not recommended for anyone in the first trimester of pregnancy, with a serious heart condition, epilepsy or taking antidepressants.
