Grief touches every life. This soothing and restorative day is a place to find joy and peace in the gentleness of remembering
Honouring Grief in All Its Forms
Sometimes grief arrives through the death of someone we love. Sometimes it comes quietly through divorce, illness, estrangement, infertility, redundancy, retirement, changing identities, or the life we imagined but never had.
Whatever has brought you here, you are welcome.
A Day to Remember is a gentle, nurturing retreat designed to create space for grief in all its forms. A space where nothing needs fixing, rushing or explaining. A space where every emotion is welcome.
Together we will pause, breathe and honour our stories with kindness - whether your grief if new or many years 'old' - this is a space to gently remember and release the pain to restore a sense of love.
Throughout the day, you'll be guided through gentle meditation, mindful reflection, nourishing movement, supportive conversation, restorative practices and meaningful rituals that acknowledge loss while gently opening the heart to hope, healing and possibility.
This is not about "moving on."
It is about learning how to carry love, loss and life's changes with greater compassion for yourself.
Whether your grief is recent or many years old, visible or hidden, expected or complicated, you deserve time to acknowledge it.
During the retreat you can expect:
• Guided meditation and relaxation
• Gentle mindfulness and grounding practices
• Nurturing movement inspired by pilates
• Reflective journaling
• Optional sharing in a safe, supportive circle
• Rituals of remembrance and release
• Time in nature (weather permitting)
• Quiet moments for reflection
• Nourishing vegetarian refreshments and connection
No previous experience of meditation or mindfulness is needed.
This retreat is for anyone experiencing grief through:
Bereavement
Divorce or separation
Family estrangement
Illness or caring responsibilities
Redundancy or retirement

Friendship loss
Miscarriage or infertility
Significant life transitions
You don't have to carry your grief alone.
Come exactly as you are.
Leave feeling lighter—not because your grief has disappeared, but because it has been witnessed with compassion.
You will be welcomed with warmth, held with kindness and leave knowing that your story matters.
