Site Tour of The Gorse Ride Redevelopment Project. Its one of Wokingham Borough Council's flagship housing projects with WATES.
Come and join CIOB Reading Hub with Katherine Jones (Social Value Manager) at Wates and experience a fabulous site tour of the Gorse Ride Redevelopment Project.
The regeneration of Gorse Ride is one of the council’s flagship housing projects and will see 249 new modern homes built on the site, a massive 74% of which will be affordable homes to meet growing local demand. The phased regeneration will take place over a number of years, transforming the community into a place local people can be proud of.
All the new homes have been designed to be energy efficient with high levels of insulation and low carbon innovations such as air source heat pumps to help reduce emissions and make them more affordable to heat. This helps tackle the fuel poverty crisis whilst helping to reduce the borough’s carbon footprint.
Dont miss out on this great opportunity!
