About This Event

Led by Becs Tridgell, this practical workshop for managers and HR professionals takes place on 25 November 2026. It aims to raise awareness of neurodivergent conditions and strategies for inclusive workplaces. The session begins at 10am at the Old Fire Station Enterprise Centre in Salisbury.

An opportunity for people managers to raise their awareness of neurodivergent conditions & the steps to take to create inclusive workplaces.

Start time: Registration is from 9.30am on Weds 25th Nov, giving 30 minutes to get a drink and meet other attendees. The workshop will begin at 10am and finish at 1pm.

Parking: Please note that the nearby public car park in Salt Lane has a time limit of 3 hours. Alternative parking is available in Salisbury's Central car park.

The workshop: Led by Becs Tridgell, an Inclusion Training Specialist with Bournemouth charity Autism Unlimited, this practical and excellent value 3-hour workshop is designed to help managers, HR professionals, and senior teams understand what effective neuroinclusive leadership looks like in practice.

Attendees will learn how to address common workplace barriers and apply simple, effective strategies to fully enable neurodivergent employees to thrive at work and contribute their unique capabilities. The workshop will also address the challenges faced by staff who are parents of neurodivergent children.

Outcomes of the workshop:

 To better understand the financial & performance benefits of developing an inclusive, neurodiverse workplace

 To strengthen understanding of neurodiversity and the neurodivergent experience

 To explore common neurodivergent conditions & associated behaviours

 To recognise the potential sensory impact of the typical workplace

 To raise awareness of the challenges faced by staff who have neurodivergent children

Becs will be supported by Ian Rowe, a director and personal coach with Caboodle Business Support based in Salisbury.

Caboodle, an accountancy practice, is facilitating the workshop to help local businesses unlock the potential of their neurodivergent teams - just like its own. Their own approach to supporting business owners is underpinned by the belief that a successful business isn't just about the numbers; it's about creating an environment where people can do their best work and thrive.
