Designed specifically for beginners, this hands-on workshop will introduce core woodwork skills through making a mini, lidded jewellery box.

Making the box will give an introduction to:

Reading the wood and understanding the grain

Measuring and marking with accuracy

Cutting squarely with different types of saws

Shaping and smoothing using a plane and sanding

Assembly

Applying finishes to complete your piece

As with all our courses, we keep group sizes small, so places are limited to a maximum of 6 people.
