Join multi-award-winning choreographer, teacher, performer, and producer Lara Gothique of The Velvet Burlesque™ for a glamorous, expert-led afternoon exploring the art of fan dance, beautiful movement, poise, performance, and classic burlesque tease.

Designed as an accessible introduction to working with open silk dance fans, this 2.5-hour workshop will explore:

- Fan placement and beautiful body lines

- Sweeping movements and fan pathways

- Poses, shapes, and silhouettes

- Framing the face and body

- Conceal and reveal

- Slow, controlled movement

- Walking, posture, poise, and stillness

- Musicality and timing

- Confidence, stage presence, and performance

- Choreographed fan dance combinations

No previous dance, burlesque, or fan experience is required - complete beginners are very welcome, alongside regular dancers who would like to explore something different.

YOUR FANS ARE INCLUDED

Everyone attending receives a pair of silk dance fans to work with throughout the session - and they are yours to take home afterwards!
