Working Together to Prevent Suicide
Join us as we launch the Doncaster Suicide Prevention Strategy 2026–2030 and unveil our new digital campaign:
"Talking is the First Step – There is Help, There is Hope, There is Another Way."
This event will bring together partners, community organisations, people who contributed to the engagement process, members of the Task & Finish Group, and colleagues from across Doncaster who share a commitment to preventing suicide and supporting those affected by suicidal distress and bereavement.
The launch will:
Celebrate the contributions of everyone involved in developing the strategy.
Showcase how local engagement helped shape the final priorities.
Provide an overview of Doncaster's approach to suicide prevention over the next four years.
Premiere our new digital campaign promoting hope, connection and support-seeking.
Explore how we can continue working together to make a difference across our communities.
The event will be followed by a networking lunch, providing an opportunity to reconnect with partners and discuss the next steps for delivering the strategy.
We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating this important milestone together.
