PLAY/DEAD are a UK industrial alternative rock band fronted by Mister Rochester, with Blackstone Angie on bass and Darkstar Peter Jones on guitar. Blending heavy guitars, electronic textures, gothic atmosphere and sharp melodic hooks, the band create a sound that sits somewhere between Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Gary Numan, David Bowie and the darker edge of industrial post-punk.

The live show is intense, theatrical and visually charged, combining driving rhythms, synth-laced darkness, gritty guitars and memorable choruses. With a sound that moves between aggression, atmosphere and melody, PLAY/DEAD channel the spirit of industrial rock, gothic alternative and post-punk into something bold, cinematic and unmistakably their own.
