LHC BIG HIKE 9 | Ladybower Reservoir Circular Covering Derwent Dam, Lost Lad and Derwent Edge ⛰️💙

Join Lincoln Hike Club for our next BIG HIKE as we take on one of the most iconic routes in the Peak District.

This circular route takes us through the stunning Derwent Valley, across the famous Derwent Edge rock formations, up towards Lost Lad and around the breathtaking Ladybower Reservoir.

Expect huge panoramic views, exposed edges, woodland trails, reservoir paths, proper climbs and an unforgettable day with an amazing group of people.

This is the main pay and display car park for Derwent Dam and Ladybower Reservoir and includes:

• Toilets

• Refreshment kiosk

• Bike hire

• Large parking area across two levels

Parking is approximately £5.50–£6.60 for the day depending on stay length.

⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This is a BIG HIKE and is designed for people with a reasonable level of fitness and confidence walking longer distances and hills.

The route includes:

• Steep climbs

• Uneven terrain

• Exposed sections

• Long distance walking

Please only book onto this event if you feel comfortable completing this type of hike.

The car park gets extremely busy on weekends, especially in good weather, so please arrive early.
