Strange Sheffield Ghost Tours Halloween Special

Five years. Dozens of stories. Countless ghosts. And quite possibly several regrettable life choices…

Join storyteller Adrian Finney for a series of special Halloween-themed ghost tours through the streets of Sheffield City Centre.

It’s been five years since Adrian led his very first ghost tour, and to celebrate this rather alarming milestone, he’s going back to where it all began — revisiting some old favourites alongside a couple of all-new stories, all told live on the streets where the strange events were said to have happened.

Expect tales of hauntings, forgotten histories, strange sightings, unexplained encounters and the occasional story that makes you wonder why anyone ever thought walking around Sheffield after dark was a good idea.

Plus a few personal anecdotes about what happens when you decide to persue a career investigating local legends…

These special Halloween tours bring together some of Adrian’s favourite tales from across the five years of Strange Sheffield Ghost Tours, alongside new stories that have never before been told on the tours.

There’ll be history, folklore, mystery and plenty of ghosts — but this isn’t a theatrical performance with actors hiding behind bins waiting to shout “BOO!” Instead, Adrian uses masterful storytelling, along with a dollop of comedy, to bring Sheffield’s darker history back to life, taking you to the actual locations connected with the stories and letting the city itself provide the atmosphere.

So whether you’re a regular, someone who has somehow managed to avoid Adrian’s tours for the last five years, or you simply fancy spending an evening discovering Sheffield’s stranger side, this Halloween is the perfect time to join us.

Five years ago, it started with one ghost tour.

Now it’s time to revisit some of the stories that helped make Sheffield the strange place it is today — with a few new nightmares thrown in for good measure.
