Midwinter Women’s Sharing Circle
A nourishing gathering to honour the dark, the returning light, and the cycles we move through
As we mark the eve of the Solstice, the longest night of the year, we are held in nature's gentle, womb-like embrace. In this season of deep quiet, we are called to remember the wisdom of cycles: the way light follows darkness, endings give way to beginnings, and every life has seasons of rest, growth and renewal.
Our circle will honour those rhythms not just in reflection, but through creation. Together, we will craft midwinter wreaths beautiful, simple circles made from natural materials. The wreath becomes a living symbol of what midwinter teaches us: the continuity of life, the cyclical nature of the seasons, rebirth and the ongoing dance of release and return.
I warmly welcome you to join our Midwinter Women’s Sharing Circle, where we will explore themes of:
Cycles of Descent & Return: trusting the wisdom of your inner seasons
The Sacred Circle : remembering that the cycles of healing, growth and nature all move in spirals and circles.
Inner Light: tending to the quiet flame within as the world begins to brighten again
Our time together will include grounding practices, movement, gentle sharing, and a spacious, creative period for crafting your wreath. No experience is needed just your presence and willingness to be held by this tender midwinter moment.
Expect candlelight, warm tea, natural materials to work with, and a room where slowness, peace and authentic connection are welcome.
If you’re longing to honour the turning of the season with intention, community, and a touch of creative ritual, this gathering is for you.
With warmth,
Johanna
