People's Emergency Briefing

A joint community event hosted by St Mark’ (https://www.stmarkssheffield.co.uk/)s and Broomhill Methodist Centre (https://broomhillmethodist.org/), bringing people together to explore the climate and nature crisis and what we can do locally.

Join us for a special community screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing (https://www.nebriefing.org/), a 50-minute film featuring nine leading UK scientists and experts. The film presents the latest evidence on climate and nature, highlighting its impact on everyday life in the UK, including:

🌧️ Extreme weather

🍞 Food security

🏥 Health

💷 Cost of living

Based on the National Emergency Briefing held in Westminster and featured by ITV, Channel 4, and The Times, the film includes appearances from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, and diverse voices from across the UK.

Following the screening, there will be an open discussion about what these issues mean for our community and how we can take local action.

Seats are free but limited. Please book in advance and inform us if you are unable to attend so your place can be reallocated.
