Britain’s top freeskier, Paddy Graham, has spent his whole life making ski films. But explaining why he’s compelled to do so has been more difficult - until now.

We Can’t Not is a ski film about making a ski film: a carefully orchestrated back-and-forth between uncompromising freeskiing and an intimate, often unexpected look behind the process. Inspired by wildlife documentaries, vlogs and films that break the fourth wall, the film brings audiences inside the action - and closer to the people who make it happen.

Set against Alaska’s formidable and beautiful terrain, the film follows two years of long waits, gear anxiety, thumping helicopter blades, doubt, fear, teamwork and moments that either fall apart or become extraordinary.

Narrated by Sean Bean, We Can’t Not brings together raw ski action, snow-obsessed storytelling and an attempt to answer the question at the heart of every outdoor film: Why?
