Stories in Stitches is a community exhibition at The Dock in Carrick-on-Shannon running until 17 October 2026. This free display celebrates traditional Aran hand-knitting and the creativity of local crafters. Gallery hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Stories in Stitches is a free community exhibition at The Dock celebrating traditional Aran hand-knitting and the creativity of local knitters and crafters.

The exhibition brings together work inspired by generations of knitting knowledge, memory and heritage, showing how traditional skills can continue to evolve while creating new connections between past and present.

The exhibition is open at The Dock in Carrick-on-Shannon until Saturday 17 October 2026. Gallery hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Free to attend.
