A free public event exploring how mobile banking apps can be made more accessible and inclusive for autistic users.

Join us for a free public conversation about digital banking, accessibility and autism - and what needs to change.

Most of us use our banking app every day to check our balance, pay bills, or transfer money. But for many autistic people, the same apps that make banking convenient can also feel overwhelming, confusing, and difficult to navigate. Despite this, it is rarely talked about.

Join us for a free event at the University of Southampton bringing this conversation into the open. The morning begins with a short talk introducing the topic, followed by a facilitated panel discussion with researchers and community representatives structured around your own experiences, using prompt cards in small groups to ensure every voice is heard. The session then moves to hands-on app experience stations, where attendees explore real banking app scenarios in small groups and discuss what works, what doesn't, and what could be better.

No prior knowledge needed.

This event is open to autistic adults, their families and carers, and anyone with an interest in digital financial inclusion. Places are limited so early booking is encouraged.
