In-person1:1 support run by trained a Breastfeeding Network Peer Supporter. Access infant feeding support face to face in a quiet space.

Like ALL Breastfeeding Network (https://www.breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk/project/southampton/) services & events, this is FREE.

Select a time slot via our tickets for either 10am or 10.45am on any Monday (apart from Bank Holidays), for 1:1 breastfeeding support wherever you are on your journey!

Please Note: Appointments are in the Community Room at Best Start Family Hub Cutbush. This is large room. There maybe another parent in a different quiet corner of the room, e.g. if someone has been to their appointment and needs place to feed. There are sometimes two peer supporters in the room, occassionaly we have a health care students, such as midwifery or health visitor students observing a session if you consent to this. Please book your tickets only when you know you are able to attend.

We have made each appointment 30 minutes long but will do our best to offer whatever support is needed and it is fine if your question only needs a 10 minute chat, or if you need to stay in the space for a little longer before leaving.

Before your appointment with us ends, our peer supporter will invite you to complete an anonymous survey with them and you are also invited to share your feedback. Taking part in the survey helps us to ensure we're reaching families and meeting your needs.

Whether you're pregnant, in the newborn haze, or feeding an older baby or toddler, a warm welcome awaits from our trained breastfeeding peer supporters.
