For the next block of Children's Art Club, we are joined by artist, Finn Greig, where we are stepping into the world of painting.

4:30pm to 6pm

The next block of Children’s Art Club for ages 7 to 12 years is on! Led by artist, Finn Greig, we will be looking at painting using landscape and imagination hand in hand.

Using the square outside of the gallery as our starting point, we are going to create a large-scale painting to transform the land into an exciting, fantastic and welcoming place to play, gather, learn and be in community!

Each week, Finn will lead us through new painting skills, including painting outside in the square with artist easels. Dreaming up the weird, the wonderful and the marvellous in this workshop, creating a new piece each workshop whilst building up a larger artwork as a team each week. Come join us to get inspired, and be part of the fun.

Do be prepared to perhaps get a bit messy with these sessions! Old clothing is recommended. We will also have aprons available to wear throughout.

Children’s Art Club aims to create, explore and learn about art and artists within exhibition spaces, develop new skills, explore different materials in an open and supportive environment, and have fun! Running in blocks on Wednesdays during term time.
