At our Annual General Meeting, we are excited to launch our new Community Navigator Project, funded by the Scottish Government. This project supports people facing multiple difficulties in living independently. We warmly welcome your creative ideas on how this resource can help us connect with local activities, strengthen community links and identify opportunities for further support.
For more than 25 years, our charity has been proud to provide information and support to people who wish to live independently and explore self-directed support options. During that time, we have spoken with thousands of people, families and carers about the choices available to them. As people’s needs and circumstances evolve, so does the knowledge needed to manage support effectively. We would be delighted to hear your ideas about how our service can best support people and unpaid carers, particularly at a time when the social care sector is facing significant pressures. We will also share an update on the Well Worthwhile Waiting project and celebrate the valuable work of our Supporting in the Right Direction outreach team.
Everyone is welcome, and we would be delighted if you could join us.
