About This Event

On Saturday 29 August 2026, the Stirling Smith Art Gallery & Museum will host a talk delving into the life and work of architect John Allan, the man who left an indelible mark on Stirling’s built heritage. Led by Andy McEwan, the session will explore Allan’s significant contributions to the city’s architectural landscape, encompassing his designs for public buildings, churches and schools. The event will take place on the pavements outside the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum, where Andy McEwan will lead a walk to explore the life and work of architect John Allan.
