Walk, Flow, Swim, and Steam your way back into your body, deep in the wild of Loch Ard
Wild Warrior Women: Rooted
Forest & Fire — walk, flow, swim, and steam your way back into your body, deep in the wild of Loch Ard
"The quality of the day was so restorative, fun, and outdoorsy, and just being with women who love growth and nature was enriching beyond words." — Wild Warrior Women attendee
All activities are optional.
What you'll come away with
🧘 A body that feels like yours again — moved, breathed, cold-plunged, and warmed back through, from forest floor, to yoga, to sauna fire
🌿 A nervous system that's actually had a rest — this isn't your average self-care retreat, this is profound, meaningful time, guided with mindful compassion and years of in-depth experience and wisdom
🔥 A ritual you'll still feel weeks later — a homegrown Scottish herb sauna ceremony, made from herbs grown by hand, not bought off a shelf
🌊 A wild swim in Loch Ard — cold water, warm sauna, the oldest reset there is, with the best women there are
💛 A circle of women who get it — connection, laughter, poetry, and the kind of belonging that doesn't need explaining
✨ A day unlike any other — profound, unhurried, and second to none
The day
This isn't a spa day. It's not a retreat-by-numbers with a script and a scented candle. Wild Warrior Women: Rooted is a full, rich day built entirely outdoors, in one of Scotland's wildest and most beautiful corners — designed for women who spend most of their lives holding everything together for everyone else.
We start in the forest. Not a quick stroll — a proper, unhurried morning among the trees on an accessible trail by the water, open to all abilities. Along the way, we'll pause for guided meditation, forest bathing, a yoga session in a forest clearing, poetry, and a homemade snack together, sitting right there among the trees.
Then it's down to the water's edge for the heart of the day: a wild wood-fired sauna, right on the shore of Loch Ard, with Ben Lomond watching over us, guiding us. This is where my special ritual happens — a Scottish nature ceremony built from herbs I've grown with my own hands in my allotment, brought into the heat to fill the sauna with something real. Calming and energising, grounding and invigorating, all at once. Between rounds, we'll cool off with a wild swim in the loch itself. Be prepared for something truly special.
To finish, we'll gather lochside for lunch together, everyone bringing their own homemade packed lunch, sharing food, stories, and the kind of quiet that only comes after a day like this.
There will be no pressure to perform. No expectations to be anything other than exactly who you are. Only space.
Space to breathe. 🌲 Space to laugh. Space to wander barefoot. Space to remember what it feels like to simply be.
Because sometimes healing doesn't arrive in words. Sometimes it arrives through cool water on your skin. Through the warmth of sun breaking through the trees. Through birds calling overhead. Through mist lifting off the loch at first light. Through women gathering around one another with open hearts.
Perhaps what you've been searching for isn't something to add to your life. Perhaps it's something the forest has been quietly waiting to remind you.
Come and spend a day where the trees stretch your perspective, the loch steadies your spirit, and nature gently guides you back to yourself.
