Synopsis

Annual General Meeting - reports and election of Branch committee.

Contemporary digital forensics investigation solutions to tackle the ever-growing demand for digital evidence: Chris and Alistair will cover perspectives of digital forensic investigations, insight into the challenges of this vital work and anecdotes of working in the industry.

The talk will highlight the increased volume of forensic investigation work in the private and the public sector and the time hungry nature of digital evidence investigations.

With the above context, Squirrel Forensics are bringing a new innovative product to the market, The Acorn.

The talk will include a practical demonstration of some of the integrated forensic "swiss army knife" features of the device, how it represents an innovative mobile forensics solution in the field and as an education tool to train the next generation of forensic investigators.

The Acorn has been on a pilot with Staffordshire University's Digital Forensic Investigation masters award during 2026. https://sqfr.uk/about-squirrel-forensics/ (https://sqfr.uk/about-squirrel-forensics/)
