Take Ten to Read at Stratford Library

Take Ten to Read is a free event organised by The National Literacy Trust and the British Council that will aim to set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the most people reading online in 12 hours. The event will include an exciting session with world-renowned authors and influencers, each designed to engage and inspire.

Discovering what our libraries offer

Why not take a book home after the event? You'll enjoy a great read, and it's a simple way to support your library. Every loan counts.

Time: 12:00-13:00 and 16:00-16.45

Date: Thursday 8th October 2026

Age: 16+

This is a drop-in event, so booking is not required. If you do choose to book a ticket, please be aware that it does not guarantee you a space. Participation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
