A four-hour pelagic boat trip will take place on the North Sea. The cruise is led by marine expert Martin Kitching of Northern Experience Wildlife Tours. It departs from Royal Quays Marina in Sunderland on 9 September 2026.
Join marine expert, Martin Kitching, of Northern Experience Wildlife Tours for a four-hour pelagic boat trip on the North Sea.
We hope to see dolphins, porpoises and sea birds.
Suitable for children age 8 and over.
Please arrive 15 minutes early as we will be leaving promptly.
Please note, any cancellations will be processed in accordance with our event cancellation policy.
Please wear warm clothing as it can be cold out at sea.
This trip is run jointly by Northern Experience Wildlife Tours and Northumberland Wildlife Trust.
The boat we sail on is the JFKTWO. It's a modern catamaran used since 2014. It has a toilet and there is room in the wheelhouse for passengers if the weather is inclement. Accessing the boat involves stepping up onto the deck.
Please note food and drink are not provided on this trip and therefore please make sure that you bring your own refreshments with you.
Due to a considerable increase in fuel prices we're unfortunately having to increase the price of the trips from 07/04/26 in order to cover increased costs. Any tickets bought prior to this date will stand at the original purchase price. Any new bookings are now subject to a £4 additional surcharge compared to the prices advertised in the NWT What's On guide. Apologies for any inconvenience.
