About This Event

The Wet felted poppy making workshop with Amy is scheduled for 23 October 2026 at East End Youth & Community Centre in Sunderland. This free workshop focuses on crafting poppies for the remembrance season, with donations welcome.

Join Amy to learn how to wet felt poppies ready for remembrance season. Free to attend - donations welcome

Join Amy for a fun and relaxed craft workshop to learn how to wet felt some red poppies. Wet felting is a relaxed craft using warm water, soap, bubble wrap and tools to turn wool fibre into a felted peice. This is a clean but messy craft (think of a very bubbly bath!) but it lots of fun!

Funded by The Mayors Community Fund. All materials and refreshements provided. Spaces must be booked ahead of time, please cancel if you are no longer able to attend so your space can be reallocated.
