A follow-up workshop to Tarot Reading for Beginners, where we will explore intuitive techniques & practice reading for each other.

A day for delving a little deeper into tarot reading. We'll be working with intuitive techniques, looking at card spreads and practicing reading for each other.

A delicious home-cooked lunch is included.

Feel free to bring your own deck if you have one you'd like to work with, but it's not a requirement- I have plenty of decks on hand here for you to have a look at and learn from.

​Who is this workshop for?​

Designed for those who have either attended Tarot Reading for Beginners or have a grounding in the basics of tarot reading and are looking to be more confident in reading for themselves or others.

Ideally, you will have a basic understanding already of the suits, symbols and structure of the deck, and/or some level of confidence in interpreting individual cards. No expert knowledge required!

What will you walk away with?

More confidence in how to read the cards for yourself or for others, tapping into your intuition, and understanding how multiple cards can form a bigger picture together.

Who's running the workshop?

Holly of Wolf Eye Creations & The Lavender Project: a creative tarot reader who has been working with tarot for 6 years, and wants to share the insights and inspiration that tarot has brought her with as many other people as she can! Holly lives at The Lavender Project, where she co-hosts creative & art based workshops, and is also the creator of Wolf Eye Creations, where she offers tarot readings, workshops and creates (often tarot inspired) poetry and art.

What is tarot?

A big question! There are almost infinite answers to this, but I believe it to be a beautiful and useful form of storytelling.

A classic tarot deck contains 78 cards, and within those cards there is a whole range of emotions, archetypes, situations, relationships and other aspects of life represented. When we pull a card from a deck, or do a reading with multiple cards, it shows a story of what is happening for us. I see the tarot as a mirror that shows us our full story. Not just the bits that are obvious to us, but everything: what's underneath our desires and actions, what may be blocking us, and how we can best move forwards, among other truths. They are an honest and informative way to look at a situation. And, to me, they are just as magical as we humans are...so, very.

You can engage with them on any level though. Whether you simply find the stories interesting or you look at life through a more magical lens, I believe the tarot have something to teach absolutely everyone.
