Looking for a way to explore creativity in a relaxed environment ? Spend time decorating unique pottery pieces made in house at Swansea Community Workshops. You will be supported in how to decorate your unique piece by the workshop tutor with underglaze. Make your piece personal to you by exploring pattern and colour .The workshop tutor will guide you through the full process, supporting you throughout the session to ensure you make something that shows off your creative spark . All materials will be provided and we will handle firing ready for you to collect your painted pieceat a later date.

Artist Bio:

A story teller by nature but an artist by choice, Safiyyah / Sprig & Star Studio often works with an array of techniques to explore the stories of nature, heritage and culture with an added twist of the ethereal to enhance our experience of the environment around us. With a Masters in design and pattern making fueling her she is currently pursuing creative outreach work, exploring how to connect with communities in a shared love of the arts.

Swansea community workshops is a charity aimed at supporting the local community for all their creative and social needs. Led by dedicated volunteers and staff who have a passion for craftand creativity. By joining this workshop you are helping support our programme and share in the love of craft at the heart of our studio space.
