Come join us for a special guided walk on Remembrance Sunday to honour the brave crew of the Wellington Bomber MF509. This meaningful event will take place at the memorial site near Carreg Goch, where we will gather to pay our respects and learn about the history and sacrifice of this courageous crew.

This guided walk covers a 9km route, offering stunning views and a reflective experience in the beautiful Brecon Beacons. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the area’s unique geology, including formations shaped over millennia, as well as the glacial features that define this dramatic landscape.

The walk also provides a chance to immerse yourself in the Brecon Beacons’ diverse flora and fauna. Look out for upland plants such as heather, and mosses carpeting the terrain, and keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife, including red kites soaring overhead and mountain ponies. This is a walk that combines natural beauty with deep historical significance.

We kindly ask for a minimum donation of £10.00 per person, which will go directly to support the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team (BMRT). Donations will be collected on the day of the walk.
