CCD building the foundations of future athletes aged u12 - u16. Delivered by Jamie Cox, current head of physical performance @ Swansea RFC.
Coaching CPD delivered by Jamie Cox, Head of Physical Performance at Swansea RFC, bringing the experience of over eight years of coaching in sport. His experience spans rugby and elite motorsport, working directly with athletes in Formula 2 and Formula 3. As well as the Wales national womens team and developing young athletes in Llandovery college.
Unlock the potential of your U12–U16 players with a CPD built for modern coaching. This 90‑minute blended workshop gives coaches the tools to develop stronger, faster, more resilient young athletes. Integrating athletic development into every rugby session.
Across classroom learning and on‑pitch application, you’ll explore how adolescent athletes grow, move, fuel, sleep, and perform. You’ll learn how to design smarter sessions, build effective warm‑ups, manage weekly training loads, and use games and constraints to dial intensity up or down. The practical segment brings it all to life with RAMP warm‑ups, running mechanics, skill‑intensity progressions, and small‑sided games that maximise development.
Perfect for coaches who want to create high‑quality, age‑appropriate environments that support long‑term athletic growth and better on‑field performance.
