What is Carbon Literacy?

At its core, Carbon Literacy is about gaining the knowledge and skills necessary to make everyday choices that positively impact the climate. It's an understanding of how carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases influence climate change, and more importantly, what we can do about it.

Explore sustainable practices tailored for the creative and cultural industries.

Our Tailored Training Approach

Designed specifically for the creative and cultural sector, our three-part Carbon Literacy Training empowers you with the understanding to integrate eco-friendly practices into your artistic and organisational activities.

Pledge Formation: Commit to personal and collective actions and gain official recognition as Carbon Literate.

We are offering two in-person training sessions adapted to different contexts so please sign up for the one that suits your needs:

19th October – For Venue-Based Organisations

This training session will include information specific for organisations that own or control buildings or venues, including energy monitoring, data capture, energy efficiency measures and renewables.

20th October – For Non-Venue Based Organisations
