Join us for a day of demos, tours and an exciting talk from Shammi Raj Balla

Shammi Raj Balla is the pioneer of Creative Media Arts in India. In 2018, he founded the nation’s first immersive technology and art museum in Goa. Shammi last served as co-CEO of Param Foundation, a large-scale organisation that promotes science, open innovation, art, history, and culture through global experience centres, makerspaces, innovation labs, and upskilling programmes.

Shammi will be dialling in to share his perspective on the intersection of technology and art, as well as his reflections on navigating an unconventional career path.

This workshop will take place at CoSTAR Live Lab, which is based at Production Park in South Kirkby, WF9 3NR. Free car parking is available to the front of the Production Park reception. We are also offering free transport via coach from the University of York to Production Park. If you would like to reserve a seat on the coach, please select that option when booking your ticket.
