Join artist Tony Wade as he leads a short walk to show how nature has transformed these former colliery sites.
Using a range of drawing materials provided, you will create your own art showing how nature and industry have combined to create these unique landscapes.
No previous experience is needed, and all materials are supplied. This session is free of charge and tea and coffee will be provided.
This is an outdoor activity which includes a short walk, so please dress accordingly.
Artist Tony Wade has been creating artworks that document the changing landscapes of the Wakefield District for nearly 40 years, and he's exhibited at The Hepworth Wakefield, The Yorkshire Sculpture Park and in galleries across the UK.
