Alpaca walks will be held at Walton Hall and Gardens in Warrington on 29 August 2026 with tickets priced at £31.39. Participants can join the rangers for a walk around the estate with three alpacas named Jim, Topaz and Mally.
Join the rangers and our three beautiful alpaca – Jim, Topaz and Mally for our alpaca walks around our beautiful estate.
We’ll start off with a brief talk about alpaca’s and introduce you to our three boys. The rangers will then demonstrate how to catch the alpaca and then we’ll take them on a walk around the park with opportunities for photographs!
Booking
Our alpaca walks can be booked for either one adult or one adult and one child – children must be 8 years or older.
We appreciate that you may want to bring someone with you to take photographs so we’re happy for one person per booking to come along with us – they must be an adult and will not be allowed to walk the alpaca.
Sorry..
Alpaca don’t like dogs, so please don’t bring your dog with you. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear as paths may be uneven or muddy.
Please meet at the children’s zoo entrance.
All walks begin at 9.30 am - 10.30 am because it's best for the alpaca to walk the grounds when the gardens are quieter.
