Good Habits are a dynamic indie-folk band fusing virtuoso energy with vivid storytelling in a whirlwind of folky brilliance! Wonderful!

“Strong songwriting, pin-precision vocals, hard rocking accordion and great acoustic grooves…musicianship at its 21st century best." - Tom Robinson BBC Radio 6

Good Habits are a dynamic indie-folk band with a knack for turning existential musings into bursts of optimism. With vocals, cello, accordion, synths and drums, their sound is virtuosic, cinematic and joyfully genre-blending – part folk storytelling, part groove-driven energy.

Formed by singer-cellist Bonnie and accordionist/synth player Pete while stranded in New Zealand during the pandemic, the band built their identity around adventure, connection and creativity. The addition of drums (Jen Walinetski) supercharged their live show with electrifying rhythmic drive.

Their UK Top 40 album Quarter-Life earned praise from BBC Radio and appearances at Glastonbury, WOMAD, Cambridge, Green Man and more. With a new album on the horizon, Good Habits are stepping into their next chapter with vibrant stories, playful energy and sheer musical joy.
