A professional model, relaxing music and plenty of art materials... What better way to spend a Monday evening?

Weekly untutored sessions ● Beginners to advanced ● Walk-ins welcome with cash or card on the door

Whether you're a bonafide artist, you haven't sketched since school, or you're somewhere in between, there's nothing like the meditative atmosphere of a life drawing session.

What to expect

Every week there's either a female or male nude model. They do a selection of short poses of 5, 10 and 15 minutes. Then a long pose of 40 minutes. We have a break in the middle for tea, coffee and a natter.

Feel free to bring your own materials, but there's plenty to borrow:

Sketching pencils

Charcoal

Pastels

Paper

Drawing boards

Easels

Local artist Suminder Virk has been running these life drawing sessions for over 8 years. There's always a nice mixture of regulars and newcomers!
