For three days Priest of Avalon, David Spofforth and Gong Goddess Jo will guide you through the mystical landscape of Avalon, experiencing the sacred sites in the area, connecting yourself to their ancient energies.
For up to three nights you will be guided in ceremony at our retreat house and Glastonbury’s famous Goddess Temple, with healing Gong and Crystal Bowl Sound Baths, gentle Yin Yoga, Cacao ceremony and guided meditations to discover your Avalon within.
Full itinerary to be finalised but likely to include:
Collection from Taunton Station on Friday lunchtime and returned to Castle Cary Station at the end of the weekend.
Guided visits to sacred places around Glastonbury, including the ancient oaks Gog & Magog, the Burrowbridge Mump, Bride’s Mound, Wearyall Hill and, of course, Glastonbury Tor.
Experience the healing waters of the beautiful Chalice Well and dip into the haunting pools of the White Spring cavern.
Receive a personal blessing and channelled reading from a Priestess Oracle of the Glastonbury Goddess Temple.
Morning mindful practises, evening ceremonies and a Sound Bath to celebrate and honour the Autumn Equinox Full Moon.
Two nights accommodation in a private house for our sole use, with healthy homemade breakfasts and evening meals.
Option to extend your stay through Sunday night with additional events.
Dates: 25th – 27th/28th September 2026
Costs: £475 shared room, £525 for own room. Additional £50 to stay for Sunday night with extra activities. Cost includes accommodation, breakfast and dinner, and any ticket prices for sites.
(non-refundable £250 deposit payable by July 31st 2026. Deposit will be returned if the event is cancelled)

Jo Culf aka The Gong Goddess enjoys travelling the world with her gong and loves to create unique experience events. She recently collaborated with gong players in the Sacred Valley of Peru, organising the London segment of the World Gong day.
Her signature style incorporates cacao ceremonies to help focus and attune, breathwork to soothe the soul or reenergise the system, gentle yin yoga to prepare your body for a deeper relaxation during her gong baths.
David Spofforth is a Priest of Avalon, trained and initiated in the Glastonbury Goddess Temple 20 years ago. He is a certified Sound Healer, trained with the Sound Healing Academy, specialising in Crystal Singing Bowl healing for individuals and groups. He plays Sound Baths as "Enlightenment of Sound" in London, Glastonbury and recently returned from playing Soundbaths in Lima and the Sacred Valley of Peru.
He is also a long experienced Tarot reader and astrologer and incorporates those energies in his own unique Sound Healing events.
