Join local businesses for an inspiring evening to network and explore how we can create educational opportunities for young people.

Local Businesses. Lasting Opportunities. An Evening of Community Impact & Educational Opportunity

What if your business could help change a young person's future?

Join Mr Gillman Tuition CIC for an inspiring evening bringing together local business owners, entrepreneurs and community leaders who believe in making a positive difference.

Across North Somerset, children and young people face daily barriers to education. For some, it's financial hardship. For others, it's special educational needs, school-related anxiety or difficulties accessing the support they need to succeed.

At Mr Gillman Tuition CIC, we're working to change that.

Through funded educational scholarships, we help disadvantaged young people access tuition, mentoring and additional educational support that might otherwise be beyond their reach.

And we believe our local business community has an important role to play.

What to Expect

This isn't your typical networking event, and it certainly isn't an evening of sales pitches.

It's an opportunity to connect with like-minded business owners, learn about educational disadvantage in our communities and discover how businesses of all sizes can help create meaningful opportunities for young people.

Throughout the evening, you'll hear from our Board of Directors as we explore:

📚 The Need: Understanding the educational barriers faced by children and families across North Somerset.

💚 Our Mission: Why Mr Gillman Tuition CIC was established and what we're working to achieve.

🌱 The Impact: How our first funded educational scholarships are already helping young people access additional support.

🤝 The Opportunity: How local businesses can get involved through sponsorship, fundraising, volunteering and community partnerships.

You'll also have time to network, exchange ideas and make connections with other businesses that care about their communities.

Who Should Attend?

We welcome anyone from the local business community who wants to make a positive difference, including:

Small business owners and sole traders.

Entrepreneurs and company directors.

Local employers and professional service providers.

Businesses interested in corporate social responsibility and community investment.

Community leaders and organisations interested in educational opportunity.

You don't need to be a large business or have a substantial sponsorship budget to make a difference.

Whether you can offer financial support, professional expertise, useful connections or simply want to learn more, we'd love to meet you.

Small Contributions. Meaningful Opportunities.

At Mr Gillman Tuition CIC, we believe that educational opportunity shouldn't depend on a family's financial circumstances.

Through the generosity of our supporters, we've already begun providing funded tuition to young people who might otherwise struggle to access additional educational support.

Every scholarship gives a young person consistent academic support, builds confidence, and helps them work towards their potential.

Imagine what we could achieve if more local businesses came together.

An Evening About Connection, Not Obligation

There is absolutely no expectation to make a donation or commit to sponsorship by attending.

Our aim is to bring people together, share our vision and begin conversations that could lead to meaningful, long-term community partnerships.

We believe that when local businesses invest in their communities, everyone benefits.
