Just show up, learn the parts, leave feeling considerably more repaired than when you arrived. No experience needed. No auditions.

Just show up, learn the parts, leave feeling something you didn't expect. No experience needed. No auditions.

We're not ready to reveal the song just yet — but we can tell you it's a good one. Something singable, something that'll sound incredible in a room full of people, something you'll be humming all the way home.

That's all we're saying for now. Watch this space...

As ever - no performance, no audition, no experience required. Just voices joining as one and something shifting, the way it always does when humans sing together in a room.

Our host for the evening is Rob Castell, who will guide you through every part - vocal warm-up, learning the harmonies, putting it all together. There's knowing a song. And then there's singing it with a room full of humans who all understand it in their own complicated way. Come and find out what that feels like.

Tea and flapjacks provided.

Come as you are.

What to expect:

A relaxed, welcoming 90-minute session from 7:30–9pm. A warm-up. Learning the song in parts. Singing it together. Tea. A post-session hang if you'd like to stay.

What not to expect:

Judgement. Auditions. Anyone caring whether you're in tune.

Our Community Rules

By coming to Gather, you're agreeing to move toward these. None of us will get it perfect every time. What matters is that we keep trying.

🤝 Show up present. Phones away, mind in the room.

🔓 Come open. Willing to try, willing to sound a bit strange.

💛 Be kind. To the person next to you, to Rob holding it all together, to yourself.

🏠 No stage, no crowd. Everyone here is part of it — not watching it.

✨ Present, not perfect. The connection matters more than the notes.

🫂 This is community. Many into one.
