In February 1943 a group of artists and printers set sail from Glasgow Greenock, bound for South Africa, India and Burma. Through original artworks, photographs, maps and documents, Ian Jacobs tells the story of the 61 Reproduction Unit, Indian Expeditionary, as they mapped the way to victory in August 1945.
Ian Jacobs is a resident of Sunninghill, a historian and publisher. His talk is based on the family archive of the Waddams family.
