Our Ecstatic Dance Berkshire Medicine Dance was born in 2024 when a group of beautiful souls gathered together to dance, connect, experience true freedom and heal, in this hidden paradise in Windlesham. What makes this event special? This is a gathering, not a retreat and not a festival. We have one main schedule running through the day which allows us to connect more deeply as a group. We would love you to join us, embracing the offerings and space, and creating some beautiful connections.

Why? Ecstatic Dance Berkshire has been running for 4 years. One word that often comes up in our closing circles is Medicine. The combination of heart opening cacao, conscious movement and a non judgmental, safe space... creates a magical opening where we feel able to reveal our true selves. Our Ecstatic Dance Berkshire Medicine Dance was born in 2024 and we have continued to gather together for Equinoxes and Solstices to dance, connect, experience true freedom and heal, in this hidden paradise in Windlesham.

The Space

Step onto the land and feel the powerful energy of the elements. The vibration of this 25 acres of land can be felt the moment you arrive as it hums with the loving energy of those who own, care for and live on the land.

We'll dance, move and practice mindful awareness as we wander through the woodland, and flow into ease and joy as we witness the lake in all her glory. Whether you choose to wild swim or to walk mindfully through the ancient trees, the energy of this special lake and land offers a chance for deep peace and healing.

This is the perfect space to Just BE.

Facilities

This is a large area of 25 acres of land and lake. The main areas are:

Parking and Camping Field (mains toilet blick, small kitchen and water point)

Woodland Main Events Area - (compost toilets and water point)

Lake - (compost toilets and one shower)

A Few Things to Mention

This is an over 18's, safe, respectfully alcohol and drug free environment. No smoking or vaping in the events areas.

This is a vegan event. Please do not bring animal food products into the event areas or the shared kitchen area.

Please be mindful with use of phones during the day, this is a chance to go deeper into your self connection. We ask you not to take photos during scheduled events and please do not photograph the main buildings.

Photos/videos will be taken by us during the event for advertising purposes.

What to Bring

Wear warm, comfortable clothing, changes of clothes/layers - we can get hot dancing! Hot water bottles are welcome, at your own risk. A mug/cup for herbal tea and tupperware or a bowl for food as plates/bowls will not be provided. Swimwear (optional) and towel if planning to swim. A cushion, mat/ something to sit or lay on, and blankets. If you're camping, then of course, you'll need to bring all your camping kit! Torch for getting back to the car. Flip flops/light shoes for the woodland as the ground can be uneven, barefoot is welcome but please be careful.
