The University of Wolverhampton, in partnership with ConnectSport CIC, is proud to host the first Sport for Change Cities exhibition, with Wolverhampton selected as the pilot city for this exciting new initiative.

The exhibition, which is also supported by the Wolves Foundation and Active Black Country, brings together powerful images and short films created by University of Wolverhampton School of Creative Industry students and local content creators, showcasing projects, programmes and organisations using sport and physical activity to create positive change across the city.

The stories featured demonstrate how sport can help to:

Improve health and wellbeing

Tackle inequality and exclusion

Build confidence and create opportunities for young people

Reduce crime and anti-social behaviour

Strengthen communities and social connections

Support economic growth and local opportunity

Contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals

Come and meet the people behind the projects, discover the stories captured by the next generation of local storytellers, and explore how sport can be a powerful catalyst for change — in Wolverhampton and beyond.

The launch will take place in MC Gallery, Ground Floor, Millennium City Building.

Entrances via Stafford Street and Ambika Paul Building (opposite the Civic Centre). There will be signs to direct you once on campus.
