About This Event

Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum will host a Term-time only family trail titled 'Museum Detectives' throughout September 2026. Visitors are invited to visit the gallery and become a museum detective, exploring eight items on display that have been highlighted for the event. Access is available from £1.00, with entry restricted to term-time dates listed for 2026. The programme features various performers contributing to the exhibition experience within the Worcester venue.

The Museum Detectives family trail invites participants to explore eight specially highlighted items within the Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum. As you navigate the trail, you will have the opportunity to draw and label your findings on your trail sheet, adding a creative touch to your experience. The trail is available on term-time weekdays, specifically from Tuesday 14 April to Friday 22 May, Tuesday 2 June to Friday 3 July, and Tuesday 8 September to Friday 23 October.

Tickets for the trail are available for £1.00 and can be purchased at the Art Gallery and Museum shop. While access to the trail requires a ticket, entry to the Art Gallery and Museum itself is free of charge. Please note that the museum is closed on Mondays. During school holidays, there will be themed trails that offer additional fun for families to enjoy.
